HOW TO BECOME A
SLLEA’s programs and services are intended for adults with higher functioning autism.
Our Top Criteria are:
Willingness to participate, learn and grow.
ASD as primary diagnosis
Safe behavior at all times
Eligible or able to become eligible for Developmental Disability Services (DDS).
Willing to sustain a goal of 20 hours or more of weekly productivity in education, paid employment and/or volunteer work
Able to obtain Food Handler’s and First Aid/CPR certifications
Able to use a smart phone and/or tablet
Willing to learn and use organizational software
Always conduct oneself in a respectable manner
SLLEA’s initial process involves completing a written application with assessments. Please let us know if you need help in that process.
