Founders & Co-Executive Directors

 

Sherry Sandreth, PhD

Sherry oversees SLLEA’s programming and client service model, as well as research and development. She brings more than 25 years experience in disability management to SLLEA, and holds a PhD in Public Health/Epidemiology and a Masters in Vocational Rehabilitation Studies with emphases in administration and psychometric testing. Sherry also is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Certified Case Manager (CCM).

Michele Smith, JD

Michele oversees SLLEA’s business planning and operations. She brings more than 25 years experience in law and business to SLLEA, as well as more than a decade of prior experience leading and working with nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities. Michele holds a Juris Doctorate degree and is a member of the Oregon State Bar.

Amy Jordan

Director of Services, Advanced Placement Program

Amy oversees SLLEA’s Advanced Placement Program (APP) supporting students who are at higher stages of independent living and autonomy. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Park and Recreation Management, and brings unique experiences to SLLEA in therapeutic and outdoor recreation, program and community development, and world travel and study.

 

Holly Ross

Director of Services, Training & Assessment Program

Holly oversees SLLEA’s Pre Training & Assessment Program (TAP/Tier 1), which supports students still living at home and the Training & Assessment Program (TAP/Tier2) which supports students living on their own for the first time.
